The Game of Life

Physics

This is why I study physics and why I love it so much!

Today in class we were studying the theory of relativity. The theory states that light is the only universal constant. Everything else changes. Time, mass, length. Nothing stays the same except light. The speed of light will always be the same.

John 8:12 ” I am the light of the world.”

God is light. He never changes. He always remains the same. He is always constant.

The Call // Regina Spektor

I love this song it is so beautiful! One of my best friends introduced me to this song a year or two ago and I loved it then! She also told me it was in one of the Chronicles of Narnia movies and that makes me like it even more. Enjoy!

Love lost

I was going through the documents on my laptop and I discovered one titled Love Story. I was curious and I found this. It’s so sweet and brings back many wonderful memories. It’s hard to believe that this occurred not that long ago.

This story takes place in a small home on the outskirts of town.  Then I see her for the first time today. My heart seemed to leap from my chest. Her radiant smile brightens even my worst worry of the day. My thoughts were flooded by thoughts of her. She was simply amazing. There she stood like the most beautiful picture that I have ever seen. Hazel eyes engaged my own and sense of peace washed over my very being. Those eyes entranced me for what seemed like hours.  The angel that stood before me seemed satisfied to reciprocate my awe and wonder. A creature so beautiful from the inside out seemed to be content in my presence. How could this be? I had come bearing gifts, but the flowers were not near the prize that she should have been awarded. We embraced and a calm peace poured over me. A great day was in store. I could feel it. Love completely saturated the air. There were three things that I knew for certain. One, Chloe was the most amazing soul that I had ever known. Two, She was my kind of heroine! Three, I was completely and irrevocably in love with this girl.

We sat on the couch and watched a movie, O Brother Where Art Thou? I could scarcely concentrate on the festivities because of my weakness for her. It was simply intoxicating to just be around her. The day went smoothly, but then something happened. She had to leave! Oh the sadness that crippled my heart. I could only remind myself of the hope that she would return in due time. Minutes seemed like and eternity as I waited for her arrival. So here I sit watching and waiting, and typing to tell the story of my love for this girl. Then I saw her. She had returned! Oh she is coming to this laptop. She reads this story and then……………

I never finished. I wish I had.

In 1938, Nicholas Winton helped 669 Jewish kids escape certain death from the Nazis.

They became known as Winton’s children. 22 survivors, now aged 70, went to see Winton again. He is 100 and his family of survivors has swelled to 7000. They’re all alive because of him.

Love and 7000 lives GMH.
